OKEx listed two more meme coins – Akita and Kishu

Popular global crypto exchange and derivatives trading platform, Okx A few days after listing the SHIB token of the Shiba Inu project, two more decentralized community experiments have been added. Latest projects Akita Inu And Kishu Inu, Popular Japanese breeds of dogs also had their respective tokens – AKITA and KISHU Listed On May 14, 2021 at OKEx, ready for spot trading against USDT.

According to OKEx, the decision to list AKITA and KISHU was the result of a polling event organized by the forum recently. The voting event provided the OKEx community with the opportunity to choose two mem token projects from the four available options. These two projects share considerable similarities with the Shiba Inu project, including the part where both projects sent 50% of their token supplies to Vitalik Butirin and closed the remainder to Uniswap.

Announcing the listing, the CEO of OKEx, Jai Hao said, “After adding Shiba to the OKX platform, we have been able to add Akita and Kishu into the mix. We are helping our community to determine the token projects to be listed on our platform through this special round of voting. Thanks. Mem tokens are gaining popularity again after a successful revival of interest in Dogcoin for the second time. The list of SHIB, AKITA and KISHU and the positive response from the crypto community reinforces this sentiment.

Marking the event, OKEx has its own version of awards for KISHU holders. It is providing 2% of the daily traded volume of tokens to be distributed proportionally among Kishu token holders by the end of each week. In addition, OKEx also offered the entire trading fee generated from the KISHU / USDT pair during the first week of trading as a special dividend to KISHU holders on the platform.
